You will hear the term "Classic Video Game" used quite frequently when searching for video games and the definition varies from person to person.

The following is a list of video games we consider "classics" (most were made from 1979 to 1983). We are sure there are some games you may feel are "classic" that are not on the list but we had to draw the line with the top 35. This list is for information purposes only. Its purpose is to give you some guidance when purchasing video games. Classic games will generally sell for more money than other games of similar age.
